DONIC stars in the spotlight
Beginning in March, at the National German Championships in Wetzlar, Dimitrij Ovtcharov was missing. In view of his very busy schedule, the DONIC star decided, with a heavy heart, to allow his body a rest which it definitely needed.
Nevertheless, many DONIC players shined at their respective national championships, in more than half a dozen countries.
In Denmark, DONIC player Anders Lind defended his 2018 titles in men’s singles and mixed doubles. The southpaw also won the silver medal in men’s doubles. Anders plays with a DONIC Ovtcharov No. 1 blade and Bluestorm Z1 Turbo rubber sheets.
In the Netherlands, where women’s table tennis has a long and successful tradition, DONIC player Kim Vermass won the women’s singles and mixed doubles titles. Kim plays with a DONIC Baum Esprit blade and Bluefire JP01 rubber sheets.
At the 2019 French Championships, which featured a very strong list of participants, our DONIC player Jeremy Petiot surprised everyone by winning the bronze medal in men’s singles. Jeremy plays with an Ovtcharov True Carbon blade and Bluestorm Z1 Turbo rubber sheets.
And our player Sam Walker wins two medals at the British Championships: Bronze in Men’s Singles and Silver in Men’s Doubles. Sam plays with a DONIC Crest Off blade and Bluestorm Z1 Turbo rubber sheets.
